Concept Young Scholars Program members and their families were treated to a night of Hispanic Heritage Celebration thanks to the hard work of coordinator Sra. Diaz and Ms. Miller.
During the event, families enjoyed a myriad of performances. Mariachi Internacional Los Viajeros literally got people out of their seats to dance. Dance performances from El Corazon de Mexico Ballet Folklorico wowed us with a wide variety of Mexican folkloric dance, but also taught guests about Mexican history and culture.
An extra special thanks goes out to the fine folks (especially manager Christian) at La Fiesta Restaurante (2500 W. Sylvania) for catering our celebration.
