Supports During School Closure

Dear Jaguar Families,

We are writing to provide you another update on the most current developments and guidance regarding the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. As you know, yesterday Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced that all K-12 public, private, and charter schools will close on Monday, March 16th for three weeks through Friday, April 3rd.

In the meantime, The HSAT Staff will be providing the following supports during this mandated
shut down:

  • 3rd Quarter Grade Cards: Report cards will be mailed out to all students on Thursday, March 19th.

  • Educational Enrichment: Our Teachers are currently creating optional online learning opportunities and enrichment resources that will be available for our students beginning on Monday, March 16th. We will email further details about our educational enrichment plan to you all on Monday morning.

Student’s school email accounts (grades 5-12 only): If you have any issues with or questions about your student’s school email account, please contact our Assistant Principal of Operations, Mr. Arslan at arslan@horizontoledo.org.

Future Programming: We will continue to communicate with you via email in regards to all future programming. Please make sure that you are checking your email accounts regularly for updates and information.

We are so thankful for our Jaguar Faculty & Staff who have been, and will continue to work to ensure that our students will receive continuing learning opportunities during this break. We ask for your understanding and support as we work through any requirements that may develop over the coming weeks.

We also want to thank our Jaguar families for your support during this difficult situation. This is a time for us to all come together as a community, and support each other during this unprecedented event. Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones.

Should you have any questions, please reach out to me at snyder@horizontoledo.org.
